What that means in practice: we work across a wide range of institutions and we'll tell you honestly when a university we don't have a formal partnership with is still the right fit for you. Your outcome matters more to us than our commission. That's not just a value — it's how we protect our reputation.

My own journey to New Zealand didn’t begin smoothly. When I was applying for my student visa, my education agent gave me incorrect advice about the funds I needed to show as financial evidence. By the time I discovered the mistake, I had already resigned from my job. I had to put my application on hold, wait months for the issue to be resolved, and find another job in the meantime- all while paying for the expenses I had committed to on the assumption that I would be leaving.
Those months were some of the most stressful of my life. I had no visa, no certainty, and no clear idea of whether I would ever get to New Zealand at all. I found an interim job, paid my bills, and waited.
In the end, the visa came through. I quit the job, packed my bags, and came to New Zealand. But I have never forgotten that it was entirely avoidable. One correctly informed piece of advice from my agent would have changed everything.
Years later, living and working in Wellington, I started getting calls from friends and family back in India. They had the same questions I once had. Some of them were already receiving the same kind of half-informed guidance I had received. It became clear to me that someone needed to do this better.
